While huge factory fishing fleets drag the oceans for tons of fish per hour Mazatlán's fishermen catch theirs the old fashioned way, with a small boat and a net. While Mazatlán is home to the world's largest shrimp fleet the locals get much of their seafood from this low tech group, maintaining a continuing supply of fish.
